VPMIA/VBCOA PMG Code Committee Meeting

Greetings,

The VPMIA/VBCOA PMG Code Committee will begin meeting again as we start work on the 2030 I-Code development cycle.  The committee’s role will be to review the 2027 PMG codes, identify areas where changes may be needed, and develop code change proposals for consideration in the 2030 I-Codes.

The committee will focus on the International Plumbing Code, International Mechanical Code, International Fuel Gas Code, IRC-Mechanical, and IRC-Plumbing.  The applicable 2027 PMG codes are currently being published by ICC and will serve as the starting point for this work.  Please begin thinking about potential code change proposals, issues that should be addressed, and other items for the committee to consider.

At our first meeting, we will review the code development process and discuss how the committee will approach the 2030 cycle.  From there, meetings will focus on identifying, developing, and reviewing proposed changes to the 2027 I-Codes for consideration in the 2030 editions.

An agenda will be distributed prior to the meeting.  Feel free to forward this invite to any members interested in participating in the code development process.
